On August 6, 2013, Lightstone Value Plus Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. issued a press release to announce that it hadentered into an $8 million loan with M&T Bank. The loan has a term of five years and is collateralized by the Courtyard by Marriott hotel located in Parsippany, NJ.A copy of such press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
