Item 8.01 Other Events.
Effective as of the close of business on October 2, 2007, Douglas Lake Minerals Inc. (the "Company") terminated Pacific Corporate Trust Company as the Company's transfer agent and registrar. Effective as of the opening of business on October 3, 2007, the Company appointed TranShare Corporation as the Company's transfer agent and registrar.
