Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On the date hereof, Southern Heritage Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) mailed to its shareholders the attached correspondence (the “Letter”), which included information about the Company’s unaudited financial information for Southern Heritage Bank, the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.
Item 8.01. Other Events.
The Letter also includes, in part, information about the Company’s intent to possibly pursue a reclassification of the Company’s common stock. The Letter is attached as Exhibit 20.1 to this Current Report on Form 8−K.
