ITEM 8.01 Other Events
On December 7, 2010, Home Federal Bancorp, Inc. of Louisiana, a federal corporation (the “Company”) announced that, in connection with the reorganization of Home Federal Bank from the mid-tier mutual holding company structure to the stock holding company structure and “second-step” stock offering of shares of common stock of a new holding company for Home Federal Bank, the new holding company has commenced the syndicated community offering portion of the second step conversion to sell shares of common stock not subscribed for in the subscription offering.
A copy of the press release is included as exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
