GrowCo, Inc. (“GrowCo”), a majority owned subsidiary of Two Rivers Water & Farming Company (“Two Rivers”, OTCQB: TURV), announced today, via an investor email update,that in its first greenhouse the first vegetation bays are being completed, and its tenant, Suncanna, has commenced growing. Suncanna expects to produce 500+ pounds per week from each 105,000 square foot greenhouse, targeting 2 to 3 times the volume of naturally grown, stronger THC and CBD level, cannabis product at less than ½ the cost per square foot than can be grown in converted warehouses.
Further, GrowCo has begun material negotiations with several extraction and product manufacturing companies. GrowCo expects to build a large extraction lab facility sometime in 2016. Two Rivers expects to plant several hundred acres of hemp in the 2016 growing season that will be used to provide CBD plant material for the extraction facility.
Two Rivers expects to bring GrowCo public as a stand alone company sometime within the next two years and to own approximately 50% of GrowCo post the Initial Public Offering.
GrowCo builds state-of-the-art computer-controlled greenhouses and provides administrative services to its tenants without touching the cannabis plants.
