On April 16, 2015, Inland American Real Estate Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) filed Articles of Amendment (the “Articles of Amendment”) to its charter with the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation changing the Company’s name to “InvenTrust Properties Corp.” The name change effected by the Articles of Amendment was effective as of April 16, 2015. A copy of the Articles of Amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit 3.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
