Appointment of Donald Giannattasio
On October 22, 2010, the Board of Directors of Blacksands Petroleum, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Donald Giannattasio as the Company’s new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. The Company has not entered into an employment agreement with Mr. Giannattasio, however, the Board agreed to compensate Mr. Giannattasio at a salary of $10,000 per month, with a probationary term of six months, with a 30 day termination notice provision.
Since 1983, Mr. Giannattasio has been a partner is Seligson & Giannattasio, LLP, an accounting firm based in White Plains, New York. He has been a certified public accountant since 1980. Mr. Giannattasio graduated from Herbert H. Lehman College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1976.
