This Form 8-K/A amends the Form 8-K filed by the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco (the "Bank") on January 29, 2009, to update the effective date of Director Gregory A. Kares' departure from the board of directors. On February 26, 2009, Mr. Kares notified the Bank that he would resign from his position as director effective February 27, 2009.
