SEGMENT INFORMATION | SEGMENT INFORMATION Operating segments are components of an enterprise about which separate financial information is available that is evaluated regularly by the chief operating decision-making group (the “CODM”). Our CODM generally consists of the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer. Our CODM allocates resources and measures profitability based on our operating segments, which are managed and reviewed separately, as each represents products and services that can be sold separately to our customers. Our segments are monitored by management for performance against our internal forecasts. We have reported our financial performance based on our segments in both the current and prior periods. Our CODM determined that our operating segments for conducting business are: (i) Games and (ii) FinTech: • Everi Games primarily provides gaming operators with gaming technology products and services, including: (i) gaming machines, primarily comprising Class II and Class III and HHR slot machines placed under participation or fixed-fee lease arrangements or sold to casino customers; (ii) provision and maintenance of the central determinant systems for the VLTs installed in the State of New York and similar technology in certain tribal jurisdictions; and (iii) B2B digital online gaming activities. • Everi FinTech provides gaming operators with financial technology and entertainment products and services, including: (i) financial access and related services supporting digital, cashless and physical cash options across mobile, assisted and self-service channels; (ii) loyalty and marketing software and tools, RegTech software solutions, other information-related products and services, and hardware maintenance services; and (iii) associated casino patron self-service hardware that utilizes our financial access, software and other services. Corporate overhead expenses have been allocated to the segments either through specific identification or based on a reasonable methodology. In addition, we record depreciation and amortization expenses to the business segments. Our business is predominantly domestic with no specific regional concentrations and no significant assets in foreign locations.
