Item 7.01 Regulation FD
On September 10, 2012, Midway Gold Corp. (the “Registrant”) issued a press release announcing that engineering and permitting activities at the Registrant’s Pan Gold Project are on schedule for start-up of production in mid-2014. In addition, the Registrant also announced the commencement of a 20,000 meter drill program at the Registrant’s Gold Rock Project. A copy of the press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1. In accordance with General Instruction B.2 of Form 8-K, the information set forth herein and in the press release is deemed to be “furnished” and shall not be deemed to be “filed” for purposes of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
