ITEM 8.01. OTHER EVENTS.
On May 17, 2006, Coley Pharmaceutical Group, Inc. (“Coley”) issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted Fast Track designation to ACTILON™ (CPG 10101) for use in treatment-refractory patients chronically infected with the Hepatitis C virus (HVC). A copy of the press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
