(b) On October 11, 2005, John Q. Adams, Sr., Chairman of the Board of Directors of Adams Respiratory Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company that he was resigning from the Board of Directors, effective October 14, 2005.
Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 14, 2005, the Company issued a press release announcing the resignation of John Q. Adams, Sr. from the Company’s Board of Directors. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference in its entirety.
