ITEM 2.02 RESULTS OF OPERATIONS AND FINANCIAL CONDITION.
On January 18, 2008, Heritage Financial Group (the "Company") issued a press release announcing its financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2007. The full text of the press release is set forth in Exhibit 99 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.
In the press release issued on January 18, 2008, the Company also announced that its Board of Directors has increased the quarterly cash dividend 17% to of $0.07 per common share. The dividend will be paid on February 15, 2008, to stockholders of record as of February 1, 2008.
