On October 23, 2009, Heritage Financial Group issued a press release announcing its financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2009. The full text of the press release is set forth in Exhibit 99 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
ITEM 8.01. OTHER EVENTS.
In the press release issued on October 23, 2009, the Company also announced that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.08 per share. The dividend will be paid on November 20, 2009, to stockholders of record as of November 6, 2009.
