Item 8.01. Other Events.
On March 29, 2007, the Board of Directors of Diamond Foods, Inc. declared a cash dividend of $0.03 per share on the company’s common stock. The cash dividend is payable on April 26, 2007 to stockholders of record on April 13, 2007. A copy of the press release announcing the dividend is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.01.
