Explanation of Responses:

1. Disposed of in exchange for 5,936 common shares of Star Bulk Carriers Corp. ("Star Bulk") and cash in lieu of fractional shares in connection with the closing of the merger of Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc. (the "Issuer") and Star Bulk pursuant to that certain Agreement and Plan of Merger dated December 11, 2023 by and among the Issuer, Star Bulk and Star Infinity Corp. (the "Merger Agreement").

2. Disposed of in exchange for 14,211 common shares of Star Bulk and cash in lieu of fractional shares in connection with the closing of the merger of the Issuer and Star Bulk pursuant to the Merger Agreement.

3. The shares are held by Aquarius Maritime Capital Ltd., of which the Reporting Person is the owner.
