On April 30, 2007, Orchids Paper Products Company (the “Registrant”) reported its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. (b) On April 26, 2007, Michael P. Sage notified the Registrant of his intent to retire, effective July 15, 2007, from his position as the Chief Executive Officer and President of the Registrant, and of his decision not to stand for re-election as a member of the board of directors at the annual meeting of stockholders to be held on June 19, 2007. A copy of the Registrant’s press release containing this information is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
