Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On February 23, 2011, Orchids Paper Products Company (the “Registrant”) reported its financial results for the quarter and full year ended December 31, 2010. A copy of the Registrant’s press release containing this information is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
Item 8.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On February 22, 2011, the Registrant announced the initiation of a quarterly cash dividend policy and authorized a dividend of $0.10 per outstanding share of the Registrant’s common stock to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 7, 2011. The Registrant expects to pay this first quarterly dividend on March 28, 2011. A copy of the Registrant’s press release containing this information is attached as Exhibit 99.2 to this report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
As previously announced, the Registrant will hold a teleconference to discuss fourth quarter results at 10:00 a.m. (ET) on Thursday, February 24, 2011.
