Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (the "Bank") has entered into a settlement agreement with a defendant in connection with the Bank's private-label mortgage-backed securities litigation for the aggregate amount of approximately $55.5 million (after netting certain legal fees and expenses). The Bank's litigation continues against other defendants. For additional information on the litigation, see "Part I. Item 3. Legal Proceedings" in the Bank's Annual Report on Form 10-K for the period ended December 31, 2019.
