Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
Effective as of August 10, 2006, the name of DB Commodity Index Tracking Fund will be changed to PowerShares DB Commodity Index Tracking Fund (the “Fund”) as previously announced on July 27, 2006. The trading symbol for the Fund (DBC) will remain unchanged.
The information in this Current Report on Form 8-K is being furnished and shall not be deemed “filed” with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
