Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On August 5, 2008, Mike Liddell resigned from the board of directors of Bronco Drilling Company, Inc. (“Bronco”), effective immediately. Bronco first received notice of Mr. Liddell’s resignation via e-mail on August 6, 2008. A copy of Mr. Liddell’s letter of resignation is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. Mr. Liddell had no disagreements with Bronco relating to its operations, policies or practices.
