On June 30, 2009, the Board of Directors of Platinum Energy Resources, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Michael G. Cunningham as Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
Michael (Mickey) G. Cunningham (52) has been employed by Tandem Energy Corporation, Platinum’s wholly owned subsidiary, as its Chief Financial Officer since 2005. In December, 2007, he was appointed Vice President. From 1985-2005 he was the controller for Clayton Williams Energy, Inc., a Midland, Texas based public oil and gas exploration and production company. Mr. Cunningham was born and raised in the oilfields of West Texas, and in that association, gained a broad understanding of operations, accounting and financial matters. He received his BBA in Accounting from Howard Payne University in 1980. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the AICPA.
