(d) In a Current Report on Form 8-K dated November 17, 2011, the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York ("Bank") reported the election to the Bank’s Board of Directors ("Board"), for terms beginning on January 1, 2012 of four years each, of current Independent Directors Joseph Melone and Rev. DeForest B. Soaries, Jr., current Member Director John R. Buran, and new Member Director Thomas L. Hoy.
Form 8-K rules require that Board committee assignments which were not known at the time of the election of a director be reported when known. In this regard, in a Current Report on Form 8-K/A dated December 15, 2011, the Bank reported on Board committee assignments for 2012 for Directors Melone, Soaries and Buran.
On January 19, 2012, the Bank’s Board appointed Mr. Hoy to serve on the Board’s Audit Committee and Corporate Governance Committee for the remainder of 2012.
