(d) Election of Directors.
In a Current Report on Form 8-K, dated August 24, 2021 and on Form 8-K/A dated December 6, 2021 (collectively, the "Forms 8-K"), the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York ("FHLBNY") reported the re-election of current FHLBNY Directors Messrs. Larry E. Thompson and Carlos J. Vazquez, and the election of Thomas R. Cangemi, Gerald L. Reeves and Josie J. Thomas to the FHLBNY's Board of Directors ("Board") for four-year terms, each beginning on January 1, 2022. At the time of the filing of the Forms 8-K, the Committees of the Board for 2022 had not yet been determined. The FHLBNY is filing this Form 8-K/A to report Board Committee Director assignments for 2022.
On December 16, 2021, the Board, in addition to having previously re-elected Director John R. Buran to serve as the Board Chair for 2022 and 2023 on November 18, 2021, approved the following Committee assignments for all FHLBNY Directors for 2022:
