ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS
On September 30, 2014, KBS Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc.’s (the “Company”) board of directors declared a distribution in the amount of $0.025 per share of common stock to stockholders of record as of the close of business on September 30, 2014. The Company expects to pay this distribution on or about October 30, 2014. The distribution will be paid in cash.
The board of directors may declare distributions from time to time based on the Company’s income, cash flow and financing activities. As such, the Company can give no assurances as to the timing, amount or notice with respect to any potential future distribution declarations.
