Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On August 3, 2009, Tyson T. Abston, a member director, advised the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (the "Bank") that he would not run for re-election to the Bank’s Board of Directors due to work commitments with his primary employer, Guaranty Bond Bank. In doing so, Mr. Abston did not express any disagreement on any matter relating to the Bank’s operations, policies or practices. Mr. Abston has served as a member director representing the State of Texas since January 2007. His term as a director of the Bank will expire on December 31, 2009.
