Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 3, 2019, Land & Buildings Capital Growth Fund, LP ("Land & Buildings") delivered notice to Brookdale Senior Living Inc. (the "Company") of Land & Buildings' nomination of James F. Flaherty III and Jonathan Litt for election to the Company's Board of Directors at the Company’s 2019 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. The Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Company's Board of Directors will evaluate Land & Buildings’ nominees and make a recommendation to the Board of Directors in due course.
Important Additional Information and Where to Find It
The Company, its directors and certain of its executive officers and employees may be deemed to be participants in the solicitation of proxies from stockholders in connection with the 2019 Annual Meeting.
