On October 1, 2013, Mercer International Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the successful amendment to the credit facilities of Stendal mill to provide the Stendal mill with greater flexibility. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
