Item 8.01. Other Events.
On May 26, Cyalume Technologies Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”), announced that it is conducting a search for a new chief financial officer to replace Michael Bielonko, who has notified the Company that he intends to retire. Mr. Bielonko, whose employment agreement expired on December 31, 2014, has been continuing to serve as chief financial officer on a day-to-day basis until such time as he is replaced or a new employment agreement is entered into. Mr. Bielonko has advised the Company that he intends to continue to serve as chief financial officer until his replacement is hired. The Company has retained an executive search firm to seek Mr. Bielonko’s replacement.
