Regarding Today’s News Report
Certain media carried reports today referring to Trust & Custody Services Bank, Ltd., which is a consolidated subsidiary of Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. However, we have made no announcement in this regard.
As mentioned in “Notice regarding Signing of Memorandum of Understanding for the Integration of Trust Banks Specializing in Asset Administration Services” announced on March 29, 2017, we discuss toward the final agreement during the second half of FY 2017. However, no corporate decision has been made at this moment.
We will formally announce immediately once we make any decisions that need to be announced.
