American Apparel Announces Date of Annual Meeting of Stockholders
LOS ANGELES, August 25, 2009 – American Apparel, Inc. (NYSE Amex: APP), a vertically integrated manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of branded fashion basic apparel, announced that it has set the date, time, and place of its annual meeting of stockholders which had previously been postponed in an announcement dated June 5, 2009.
American Apparel’s annual meeting of stockholders has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 2:00 pm Pacific Time at its headquarters located at 747 Warehouse Street, Los Angeles, CA 90021. The record date for voting has been set for September 10, 2009.
