SECTION 5 - CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
ITEM 5.03 AMENDMENTS TO ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION OR BYLAWS; CHANGE IN FISCAL YEAR
On July 8, 2008, Outback Energy Corp. (the "Company") amended its Articles of Incorporation to: (i) effect a 2 for 1 reverse stock split, and (ii) change its name from “Outback Energy Corp.” to “PetroNational Corp.” The record date for the reverse split is July 7, 2008. Prior to that on June 12, 2008, the Company had effected a 2 for 1 reverse split.
As a result of the name change, the Company’s new trading symbol under the OTC Bulletin Board is “PTNL.”
The text of the Company’s amendment to its Articles of Incorporation reflecting the reverse split and name change is attached as Exhibit 3.1 hereto.
