On October 2, 2015, Morgans Hotel Group Management LLC, an affiliate of Morgans Hotel Group Co., (the “Company,” and together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, “Morgans”), entered into a settlement agreement in connection with a litigation that Morgans had previously filed in the Supreme Court of the State of New York against the mortgage lenders to the Mondrian SoHo debt and the current owner of the hotel formerly known as Mondrian SoHo. The agreement resolves the litigation, which will be dismissed in exchange for the $10 million payment made to Morgans on October 2, 2015.
