Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On April 26, 2006, Alexza Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that it has initiated a Phase I clinical trial with AZ-003 (StaccatoTM fentanyl). The press release announcing the clinical trial is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
