(b) On October 2, 2015, Alexza Pharmaceuticals, Inc., or the Company, announced that Mark K. Oki planned to resign from the Company effective as of October 16, 2015. Mr. Oki is currently the Company’s Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Oki’s resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices, or regarding the general direction of the Company.

On October 2, 2015, the Company announced that it has promoted Catherine McAuliffe to the position of Vice President, Operations and Stacy Palermini to the position of Vice President, Finance, each effective as of September 29, 2015.
