Explanation of Responses:

1. On August 25, 2020 the reporting person transferred 96,993 shares of PGTI common stock (the Common Stock) to the Merry E. Feintuch Revocable Trust, of which the reporting person and the wife of the reporting person are trustees. On December 17, 2020, the Common Stock was transferred from the Merry E. Feintuch Revocable Trust to the Feintuch 2007 Dynasty Trust, of which the reporting person and an unaffiliated third party are trustees and of which the children and grandchildren of the reporting person are beneficiaries.
