(c) Appointment of Certain Officers.
The Current Report on Form 8-K of KBR, Inc. (“KBR”) dated October 12, 2020, and filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on October 16, 2020, announced that, effective October 30, 2020, Shad E. Evans, KBR’s Senior Vice President of Finance Operations, would assume the responsibilities as Chief Accounting Officer on an interim basis while KBR conducted a search for a permanent Chief Accounting Officer. Following an extensive candidate search and careful review of Mr. Evans’s interim performance, the Audit Committee of the KBR Board of Directors recommended that Mr. Evans serve as KBR’s permanent Chief Accounting Officer. Effective July 29, 2021, the KBR Board of Directors appointed Mr. Evans as Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Evans will continue to serve as KBR’s Senior Vice President of Finance Operations.
