Item 8.01. Other Events
On September 28, 2010, Westway Group, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that Westway Terminal Company LLC, a subsidiary of the Company, is in the process of expanding the capacity of three of its terminals located in Houston, Texas, Sioux City, Iowa, and Amsterdam, The Netherlands. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
