Item 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.
On September 7, 2007, AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.25 per share of common stock. The dividend is payable on October 15, 2007 to shareholders of record as of October 1, 2007.
