On May 3, 2016, AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. (the "Company") issued a corrected version of its press release that had been issued on May 3, 2016, reporting results of operations for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016. A copy of the corrected version of the press release (the "Release") is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
The Release was reissued by the Company in order to correct an inadvertent omission of the “gain on acquisition” line item in the “Other income (loss)” section of the income statement attached thereto. The Release reflects no substantive changes but only the correction of an inadvertent error.
