Additional Soliciting Materials

On February 18, 2011, Homeland Energy Solutions, LLC (the "Company") filed a Definitive Proxy Statement for the Company's 2011 Annual Meeting to be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 (the "Proxy Statement"). The Proxy Statement includes a proposal for the election of two directors at the Company's 2011 Annual Meeting. Two of the nominees who are running for election at the 2011 Annual Meeting, Mr. Mathew Driscoll and Mr. Duane Schwickerath, plan to make automated telephone calls to the Company's members starting on or about March 3, 2011.
