Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On June 11, 2020, Emergent BioSolutions Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing an agreement to support the manufacturing of AstraZeneca’s vaccine candidate for COVID-19. A copy of the press release related to such announcement is furnished as Exhibit 99 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
Item 8.01 Other Events.
On June 10, 2020, Emergent Manufacturing Operations Baltimore, LLC entered into an agreement with AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP to provide CDMO services, technology transfer, analytical testing, drug substance process and performance qualification and will reserve certain large-scale manufacturing capacity through 2020.
