Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. Announces a Management Change
DENTON, TEXAS, March 11, 2008 — Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:SBH) today announced that David L. Rea has resigned, effective April 11, 2008, as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. Mr. Rea, who is resigning to spend more time with his family and pursue other interests, has agreed to continue serving in a consulting role with the Company for approximately three months following his effective termination date.
“We are sorry to see David leave but we wish him all the best with his future and thank him for his efforts during our transition as an independent public company” stated Gary Winterhalter, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Mark Flaherty, our current Chief Accounting Officer and Controller, will serve as Acting Chief Financial Officer as we conduct a search to consider both internal and external candidates. Mark was previously the Chief Financial Officer of Tandy Brands Accessories prior to joining the Company.”
