On August 8, 2008, GateHouse Media, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit 99.1, announcing its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008, and announcing a conference call to review these results.

(the “Company”) issued a press release, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit 99.1, announcing that, beginning with the second quarter of 2008, its Board of Directors has temporarily suspended the payment of a quarterly dividend to common shareholders.
