On July 23, 2010, Jonathan L. Billings, Executive Vice President and Head of Institutional Brokerage of FBR Capital Markets Corporation (the “Company”), notified the Board of Directors of the Company that he will retire effective July 25, 2010 from his positions as an officer of the Company and its subsidiaries.
