General and Administrative Expenses
General and administrative expenses for the first quarter of 2019 were $3.6 million, compared to $3.3 million for the first quarter of 2018. The increase in general and administrative expenses as compared to the prior year period was primarily due to an increase in personnel related costs andnon-cash stock-based compensation expense.
