DYNEGY LAUNCHES SENIOR NOTES OFFERING
HOUSTON (May 15, 2013) — Dynegy Inc. (NYSE:DYN) is launching an offering of $500 million in aggregate principal amount of Senior Notes due 2023 (the Notes) in a Rule 144A private placement. Dynegy intends to use the proceeds of the offering to repay its recently issued $500 million, seven-year Term Loan B.
The Notes will not be registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the Securities Act), and may not be offered or sold in the United States without registration under the Securities Act or pursuant to an applicable exemption from such registration.
