Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On August 14, 2008, SmartHeat Inc. ("SmartHeat") issued a correction to its press release announcing its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008. SmartHeat advised that the earnings per share for the second quarter 2008 should have been $0.03 rather than $0.04 as was reported in the original release. The information contained in the press release is deemed to be "filed" under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 as Exhibit 99.1 to this report, and such press release is incorporated herein by reference.
