Explanation of Responses:

1. The reported sale was effected pursuant to a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted by the reporting person on November 20, 2015.

2. The price reported in Column 4 is a weighted average price. These shares were sold in multiple transactions at prices ranging from $31.96 to $32.65, inclusive. The reporting person undertakes to provide to Super Micro Computer, Inc., any security holder of Super Micro Computer, Inc., or the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission, upon request, full information regarding the number of shares sold at each separate price within the ranges set forth in footnote (2) to this Form 4.

3. These shares are held in a trust for the benefit of the reporting person's children. The reporting person and his spouse, Shiow-Meei S. Liaw, are the trustees of the trust.
