On March 13, 2008, Abitibi-Consolidated Inc. (“Abitibi”), a subsidiary of AbitibiBowater Inc. (the “Company”), will make a presentation to potential lenders. A copy of the slides to be used in the presentation (the “Lender Presentation”) is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
